My man and I love to eat. Not only eating out, we actually enjoy preparing food in our little kitchen, little but very well equipped kitchen. This beef wellington isn’t a very simple dish to prepare but it definitely worth trying. Set out the Beef Wellington on a side of a big round plate along with side dishes of green peas and potatoes and enjoy!

This is a more like a Japanese style of home made cream puff with custard filling instead of whipped cream. All ingredients are easily found in the kitchen and very simple to prepare.

It’s just perfect for an afternoon tea dessert.

Ingredients:
Puff

  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 egg whites
Cream
  • 2 tablespoon of corn flour
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon of melted butter
Recipes made 16 bite size cream puffs.

Steps:
Puff
  • Preheat the oven to 190 degree Celsius.Add sugar, butter and water in a pan and bring to boil.
  • Move the pan off heat and add flour in the butter mixture and stir quickly with a wooden spoon.
  • Add in eggs and egg whites in the mixture, stir and mix until no more lumpy flour.
  • Using a square baking paper, fold it diagonally twice to create a triangle like a coffee filter, or you can use a clean plastic bag.
  • Pour the dough in the baking paper, cut off the tip and squeeze out as small mounds on a baking paper lining on baking tray.

  • Fill the puffs with cream and you are ready for a hearty dessert.

The Venetian Macao Resort-Hotel.

Working throughout a year, earning for living and saving every penny has become a habit of most of the working class people. Most of us practice a budget and living below mean just like other people do. Once in a while, we should reward ourselves with something, a vacation, not the backpacking and living in budget motel kind of vacation but a luxurious one and pretend to be a queen in the palace for one whole day.

For us living in Asia country, flying more than 24 hours to get to Las Vegas for a shop trip sound almost impossible but a short getaway to Macao, the Las Vegas of Asia can be easily scheduled.

  • The magnificent building of The Venetian Macao Resort-Hotel.

We’re at The Venetian Macao Resort-Hotel on Autumn package for a 3 days and 2 nights stay. It was like a dream that brought me into a sumptuous palace and leading the life of royal family.

At the hotel lobby, we’re impressive by the service of the attendants, they’re quick, helpful and more importantly, always greet you with smile. These made us feel like an important guests of them. We’re given the hotel map in a booklet that stating every detail of what they offer in the hotel itself.

The path way to the suite playing the classical music and the unique architectures compliments each other. Upon entering our suite, the beige and gold color bathroom of the size of a small bedroom at my home definitely is every lady’s dream bathroom. After the bath room, King-sized canopy-draped bed beautifully unveiled. With several soft white pillows nicely arrange on the bed, I don’t mind lying on the bed day dreaming for whole day. The spacious sunken living room alongside, I jumped onto the sofa and enjoy the beautiful suite with a feeling of awe, it’s like a dream.

  • The King-sized canopy-draped bed of Royale Suite.

  • The sofa at the sunken living room and reading table next to it.

  • The white bath suits in the lighted wardrobe.

  • Spacious bathroom with a lot of mirrors, love it.

  • The bathtub and wash basin with steel hardware in gold color.

  • 2 wash basins in a bathroom, I wanted this at home.

  • Coffee corner and the tv at the living room.

The Venetian Macao Resort-Hotel is having a promotion package that offer the best luxury stay.

Benefit Realness of Concealness.

The packaging of Benefit Cosmetics is so attractive that made all the ladies hard to resist. Especially the cute mini palette that is compact, easy to carry and so convenient it has a mirror attached to the cover.

I was flipping the Inflight Duty Free shop magazine of Cathay Pacific and saw this mini kit of Realness of Concealness and I know I must have it. The maroon and pink paper box holding 3 mini bottles and 2 palettes, the first feeling when I get hold of the box, it ain’t heavy but it certainly have everything that I need. And the paper made box does added its uniqueness.

Kit contains:

  • ooh la lift 2.5g
  • lip plump 2.5g
  • high beam 2.5g
  • lemon aid 1.0g
  • boi-ing 1.2g

I personally love to apply the boi-ing on my lower lid to cover my dark eye circles and also a little bit on upper lid to even the color around my eyes. Lemon aid works well as a primer to keep my eye liner stays for whole day, my eyes are greasy after a while but this primer hold it well, my eye liner don’t smudge anymore.
The third one that I like is the high beam, I apply a little dot on my cheek bone as well as brow bone to create the 3D effect, just blend it with finger and that’s it.

I have used lip plump a few times, it did made my lip feel fuller a little while after apply it, the lip line seems lesser but the texture of the lip primer itself is a little dry, perhaps apply the lip gloss after that should feel better but not the lip plump alone.

The little ooh la lift still staying in the box safely without opening, I have to find out what miracle it can bring.

This compact mini kit of Realness of Concealness is just perfect for travel, leave all the big bottles at home and pack this in your carry on luggage. This is allowed to bring on to the flight.

Travel in style. ;)
