After much waiting and speculating, Apple finally unveils the iPad to the world. Being in an Apple fanatic family, we have a few insider information on the iPad long before it launched. But visualizing can never compare to holding it in the hand.

We are waiting to have another new member to our Apple family of Macbooks, Macbook Pro, iPhones and iPods.

  • Accessing iTunes anywhere without lugging my macbook, accessing application on the go.

  • Oh my god, my paperless book shelf, it looks real.

  • Reading email on a bigger screen than my iPhone.

  • Viewing images on digital photo frame iPad.

It will look kinda cute if I line up my iPhone next to the iPad, the dad and son.
Get notified when you can head to apple store to get yourself an iPad. I really can't wait to get my hand on it.
iPad, in style.

Online shopping has become a common term nowadays. It's so convenience for me that I can just sit at home, logged on to internet in my pyjamas, browsing through the shop catalog and compare the price from one shop with another. And before I make a purchase, I can read review from other people which I always find it useful.

Reebonz is not just another online shopping site, it's a sales portal of the most renowned brand offered at the most affordable price. They offer a wide selection of fashion items from lingeries, timepiece, clothes, sunglasses to fashion accessories, handbags and pet accessories.

There will be email to notify on the upcoming events so I normally set my alarm to remind me to sit in front of the computer to browse the product first hand when the event started. One thing that I really enjoy shopping at Reebonz is all items are described in every details to help customer to visualize what the product looks like. I personally doesn't have much confidence to purchase clothes without trying it so I usually spy at handbags and accessories.

Flip Video.

Posted by Callista On Saturday, January 16, 2010 0 comments

Video camera for consumers exist few decades ago. It's not difficult to see people go traveling around carrying the bulky video camera, bring extra cartridges in an extra bag. The video camera has then evolved to light weighted of a size that double of your palm that records into a DVD. And it continues to improve.

Then, Flip Video's introduced.

Flip video is handy and comfortably hold, point and shoot with one hand. It's like a mobile phone size that easy to carry everywhere.

The video quality is comparable to most full size video camcorder with output of VGA (640 x 480) at 30 frames per second (fps) progressive scan recorded as MP4 files. If the ordinary quality doesn't meet your requirement, you may opt for the HD version fit into 16:9 widescreen, HD 720p (1280 x 720) at 30 frames per seconds (fps) progressive scan recorded as MP4 files.

This device come with built in memory of 4GB and 8GB for MinoHD™ and 2GB for Mino™. For UltraHD™ will be 8GB and 4GB for Ultra™. Though we can choose the memory size that is best suit our needs but the ability of additional external memory would have make this little handy camcorder more competitive in the market.

Flip is equipped with a USB connector to allow you to share your video on the go without having to carry extra transfer cable. Upon connecting Flip to a computer for the first time, your will be prompted to install Flipshare software that come with the device to allow you to easily download ,upload, manage, edit and share your video. Find out more of Flipshare here.

To personalize this device, you may choose for the option to design your Flip Video with the fun of art.

  • All images are from theflip.com.

  • Using the Pattern Generator to create an identical image for your Flip

  • Upload your own image to skin the device making it the only one in the world.

  • Select from the Design Gallery with some preloaded design.

  • Keeping it at the minimal design to let it stay with the original black or white color.

Flip was first introduced in US, and Europe then Canada. And now, it has hit the shore of New Zealand and Australia. We in Asia is awaiting for its arrival. Though I have had a chance to play with Flip Video for couple of days but I certainly like to have one my own. Shoot in style.

MGM Grand Buffet Breakfast.

Posted by Callista On Wednesday, January 13, 2010 0 comments

Upon arriving Macau at the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, the breathtaking view of Macau will certainly attracting your eyes but eventually, your eyes will be captured by this extra ordinary building of MGM Grand hotel.

  • The majestic MGM Grand.

At MGM Grand lobby, the dimly lit lobby is quiet but magnificent. Everyone you meet is politely nodding to you with a smiling face. This is the great hospitality I would appreciate. To the contrast of the lobby, the transparent roof of skylight dome brings the sunshine to the Grande Praca that immediately catch your eye once you walking through the aisle of lobby. The European-inspired facades and a myriad of terraces, created the ambient as if you are walking in the city of European country.

On the left of the Grande Praca is where the restaurant Rossio located. A buffet breakfast that cost MOP180 per person is definitely not cheap, but everything that you get to enjoy at Rossio is worth more than the price.

At Rossio, the impressive open kitchen has everything you craving for as breakfast. A varieties of salad, breads, ham and bacon of English breakfast dishes to Chinese dim sum, steamed bun with BBQ pork, porridge and a lot more that your little stomach only have room for a piece of everything, unless you are a big eater. There is the cook to order omelette that you can ask to add in your favourite fillings to the omelette, this has to be the best omelette so far.

  • The Grande Praca that showing "Lights & Sounds” tribute daily after sunset.

  • The table setting at Rossio.

  • The cute mini fruit jam available at every table for you to enjoy.

  • The well equipped open kitchen at Rossio.

  • The friendly Chef is making the omelette.

  • My choice for the first round.

  • Man's choice for the first round.

  • We opted the outdoor seat of Rossio overlooking the beautiful Grande Praca.

  • We enjoy watching the detail of the unique structure while having breakfast.

Food, to me is not other than something to fill up the stomach and tasty food is being served everywhere on this earth. Savouring good food is no longer a luxury because most people afford it now. The true enjoyment of food is the companion, the serene surroundings that makes each and every single piece of food you take turn into the moment of joy.

Mark MGM Grand Macau in your itinerary to Macau. Enjoy life, enjoy in style.

Bobby Brown Gel Eyeliner

Eye liner has never been so in demand as nowadays. Every lady would have at least one eye liner in the make pouch. The earliest eye liners are in pencil form. It slowly transformed to liquid eye liner and now the eye liner in gel form is widely available in market.

Pencil eye liner has a soft powder based form in wooden holder. Pencil eye liner are recommended for first time user. It is easier to control and can be applied on both upper and lower eye line to beautifully define the contour of the eyes. One draw back of the pencil eye liner would be it's very easy to smudge. May be it's a good thing for lady who like smoky eye look. Pencil eye liner just like the pencil that have to be sharpen from time to time to keep the tip sharp for drawing fine line.

Liquid eye liner is harder to control in order to draw a fine and smooth line without much practice. The liquid is ink-like and usually in dark color. That's also why liquid eye liner normally come in a bottle. The applicator is tiny but sharp and soft, that's also the reason it is hard to master to draw a fine line. But once you master it, it can be applied in a snap. Liquid eye liner is waterproof. It stays for hours without smear.

Gel eye liner is not like the ordinary eye liner. It needs an extra applicator to apply the eye liner onto eye lid. Bobby brown eye liner has a soft gel texture that is easy to apply, but it has to apply before dry as it becomes transfer-resistant once dry. The gel formula inherited the waterproof advantage of liquid.

Bobby Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner is an award winning formula. It is awarded: "Elle" Magazines's ‘Top 5’ (Nov. 2009), "In Style" 'Best Beauty Buy' (2008), and "Allure" ‘Reader's Choice Award’ (2008).

I purchase the bobby brown gel eyeliner in granite ink together with the applicator Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush. The brush doesn't work out well. The line doesn't fine and smooth enough. I thought it was due to lack of practice at first, therefore keep trying until I finally gave up. And I bought another angled liner brush and it works like a charm.

Now I have a attractive beautifully lined eye. You too can have it, pretty in style.

iPhone Apps: Organizer.

Posted by Callista On Saturday, January 02, 2010 0 comments

2009 has come to an end. Times flies, I couldn’t really recall each and every events happened in 2009 which I certainly wish to keep in my memory. I keep a personal blog to track as detail as I can of my live but access my blog would need access to internet, but the facility from where I am living doesn’t allow me to have the luxury to have internet access everywhere.

I have been considering buying a diary and picking up the habit of writing diary all over again, but I can’t convince myself that I will bring my diary with me everywhere I go. Diary doesn’t have the option for me to attach an image easily unless I print out the image and stick it on.

Until I found this application of iPhone, Organizer, developed by aesthology.

The first impression indeed important, the striking red color of the icon design certainly made it the winner among all applications of its category.

This application works like a real organizer and personal assistant. I can write text and choose the font color that make it more standout from the bunch of notes that I have written down. I change the font to Marker Felt to make it looks like written by pen, it’s decent. What’s more to ask when I can add emoticon into my diary without additional drawing, there are about 50 emoticons to choose from and I hope they will add in more and more emoticon on every update.

I insert pictures to my organizer note and it works like my mobile blog to keep track of my daily adventures, pictures are loaded from my iPhone Photos and drag the picture to the position that I think best matching the layout. There are features to record contacts, record and insert the voice memo to a note instead of writing which I am going to explore more.

The newest version of Organizer supports Google Calendar to synchronize on events and schedules and using Google Calendar’s reminder to notify of event. There is another cool features of backup and restore data, I doesn’t need to worry that I might lost all my notes, diary and schedule planning.

I have found the perfect tool for my daily schedule, to-do list, notes , diary and also a reminder.

Get yours today. Live in style.
