Palgantong Morning Set

I have never really pay attention on BB cream until my encounter with this Palgantong Morning Set. The overwhelming reviews and recommendations urge me to get one and try it on. I am always not a pinky stuffs fan, but the pink packaging made me feel girly whenever I see it. Ever since I first using it, I have fell for it and never leave home without it.

The set come with One Touch BB Cream, Theatrical Powder and a pink puff in a transparent travel easy pack.

BB cream sounds a bit quizzical until I google it, the Blemish Balm cream, oh, now it sounds more like it.

I use this BB cream everyday as my foundation as well as primer. It helps in oil control that makes me feeling fresh and my skin is perfect for whole day. It gives a natural glow on my face, so I can go out to work without make up but still looking stunning. It is the in trend nude look. It provides perfect coverage on my discoloration area and marks but without clogging pores or damaging the skin, to add to it, it actually comes with a UV Protection of SPF15, I know this is not enough but when I'm in rush, I still can depend on it for a bit until I have time to apply my sun screen.

The theatrical powder, as its name described, created a theatrical effect when you apply it on your check and brow bone. It gives a 3D effects that make your features more standout. And the powder helps to absorb the excessive oil on the face and stay fresh for all days.

How can we not love this product for giving such a good effect a such a lovely price.

Exp: Cathay Pacific Lounge

Traveling out of Hong Kong can be luxurious whenever I'm traveling with Cathay Pacific. Us Marco Polo member have the privilege to enjoy their lounge, everything free of charge. Therefore, whenever traveling out of Hong Kong, we would depart earlier from home, check in way before the departure time. And with our frequent visitor of HKIA, we almost no need to line up for immigration, then we will walk straight up to the lounge, elegantly.

The lounge is very well organized. There is restaurant with a layout like a canteen, but more luxury one of course. There is nothing to complain of the food varieties being served, bread, sandwiches, danish, muffin for something light. You can order for soup noodle with shrimp dumpling if you crave for the Hong Kong style of wanton noodle. There are free flow of fresh fruit juices, milk, tea, coffee, canned soft drinks at the restaurant.

After the meal, there is rest area for the passenger to relax before boarding. Free wifi access is available for you to kill time while waiting for the flight. If you are going to travel for a long haul flight and wish to clean up yourself before boarding, there is bathroom, spacious bathroom which you can bring in your carry on luggage. Don't worry if you have your towel in the checked in luggage, there is clean towel ready for you in the bathroom. How sweet is that!!

There is a bar near the rest area, they serve wines, coffee, juices and some snacks. Reading magazine while awaiting for board with a glass of wine in hand, that's marvelous life.

The cafeteria that served good food. Plenty of tables to accommodates for passengers.

The variety of bread, fruit and drinks being served.

Danish bun that looks attractive, it's almost empty and need to be refilled often.

Enjoying the food while watching flights taking off at the most busiest airport in the world.

Enjoy a glass of white wine while working on the Mac, how good if have this everyday in office.

Mini sausages being served as snacks near the bar counter. It tastes good.

What's best when there is free Haagen Daz ice cream whenever you think of it.

Become Marco Polo member to enjoy this privilege, traveling is no long a pain.

Best Tiramisu Ever.

The recent visit to Taipei was an impromptu. We didn't plan for too much of the itinerary but shortlisted a few Taiwanese delicacies.

We were staying at Dandy Hotel, there was a short walking distance from the hotel to the near by MTR station, but we were happy since there are a lot of shops, restaurants, bakeries along the road, who knows if there is any hidden gems somewhere.

We spotted Sweet Spice bakery one day while heading to the MTR station. The big banner attracted us, NT99 for a Tiramisu. I'm talking about one whole Tiramisu cake, not a piece of Tiramisu. But I didn't buy it right away, because I don't want to lug the box of cake to tour Taipei city.

So we bought it on the way back to hotel when we return. It's really fortunate that there are still a few left and thanks to myself that I still remember.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we took the cake out of the box and started to scoop a mouthful of the Tiramisu to savor. It was heaven. It tasted just nice. The bitter sweet taste compliments each other, it's creamy, soft and fluffy. The alcohol taste isn't that strong and just right, the cocoa powder on top brought out the sweetness of the mascarpone cheese with cream.

This is definitely the best Tiramisu I ever have, it beats the Tiramisu served by well known restaurants and 5 star hotels. Furthermore, it's only NT99.

We finished the whole cake that night itself without realizing and swear we're going to get another the next trip there.

If you happen to be in Taipei city now, visit them at 台北市忠孝東路3段6號
